Its been 24 hours since the Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 premiere, which was precisely how long I needed to process all of Tuesday nights ridiculousness before I could collect myself and write this recap. From the moment the theme song started, it was like we had been transported to a sleazy reality motel. Then Daniel poured maple syrup all over himself and there was no turning back.Major storylinesSo many thoughts -- and concerns -- but all of them lead back to one lethal word: Chad.Hurricane Chad hit really, really, really hard Tuesday night. We were first reintroduced to our antagonist prior to his arrival in Mexico. The Chad Bear took a brief moment to explain what hes been up to since his dismissal from The Bachelorette -- hanging with his dog -- then proceeded to reiterate that America had a misconception of him on Jojos season, and finished his spiel by informing us that he does consider himself to be a romantic person. ... Okay.?Upon making his grand entrance on the beach, he quipped: Me, Daniel, roses, alcohol, girls ... what could possibly go wrong?Oh my ominous.Shortly after, Chad met Lace -- whose crazy matches his own -- and thus it was only a matter of time before they started making out and play-fighting (or maybe real fighting?) in the hot tub.(Brief aside: Remember when Lace yelled at Ben on his season of The Bachelor for failing to make eye contact with her during the rose ceremony? Im just saying, this Chad-Lace union could have serious potential.)However, the new couples wild bliss was short-lived, even by BIP standards, and ended in Chad hurling slurred insults her way ... then maybe, accidentally, soiling his swim trunks, because #BachelorInParadise. The episode came to a close the following morning with host Chris Harrison asking Chad to leave paradise. Chad then turned on Harrison and began yelling at him for reportedly drinking mimosas in a robe while watching the show from his hotel room ... yeah, it was tough to follow. But the important takeaway here was that The Chad got kicked off the show.?Hook ups and budding romancesChad and LaceJared and Jubilee (Disclaimer: Keep an eye on the twins; one of them confessed she is also vying for his affections.)Nick and Amanda (The preview for next week showed a Josh Murray arrival that is primed to end this union before it begins.)Vinny and Izzy?Break upsChad and LaceLoser of the weekThe award goes to Daniel for being wildly offensive. Chads right-hand-man from Jojos season could possibly be even as offensive as Chad himself. Here is a sampling of his quotes from the episode:I was hoping for some good-looking girls. So far Im not impressed. So far these are just Poodles and Yorkies. Street dogs.?Lets rate girls. I love rating girls.?Hopefully theres some better fresh fruit that comes in ... so far the fruit thats here looks like its been bruised in transportation.?Hey Daniel, take a lap ... or five.?Winner(s) of the weekSarah. After hearing The Chad spew?misogynistic word vomit at Lace, she clapped back saying: The way youre talking about women is so disrespectful. I want nothing to do with it. Nothing.?In a franchise where feminist moments are few and far between, Sarah made it clear that the women of Season 3 arent buying the sexist garbage.Bye Chad, you can go shave your back now (Regina George voice).?The Twins. Apparently Emily and Hayley have some magical package deal immunity that allows them both to come back if one of them is given a rose. So while the lack of recognition for them as individuals is disturbing, they do seem to have an obvious advantage over the rest of the competition. From the look of the preview, Episode 2 is going to be a juicy one. So remember to check back next week for further analysis from paradise. Nike Air Max 270 Ispa Black .
